IDEAL CANDIDATE -
The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of HP Network Devices,Working at Data
Center, Palo Alto, Fortinet Security products, load balancing (F5), DNS, DHCP, and SAN storage
infrastructure. Additionally, CISSP or CISA or equivalent certification and a recognized security
certification are a requisite for this role.
Key Responsibilities and Skills:
● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
● 10+ years of experience in network and security engineering within complex environments
● Design, configure, and implement network and security solutions based on Palo Alto, and
Fortinet security products.
● Design and configure load balancing using solutions like F5.
● Lead the design and implementation of network architecture projects ensuring high
availability, fault tolerance, and scalable solutions.
● Manage, monitor, and troubleshoot daily network and security incidents to ensure stable and
reliable operation.
● Oversee the management of DNS, DHCP, and storage infrastructure, including SAN
troubleshooting and maintenance.
● Manage and troubleshoot SAN storage infrastructure ensuring optimal performance and
reliability.
● Collaborate with the storage team to ensure seamless network integration and operation.
● Establish and maintain network security policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with
internal and external regulations.
● Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and propose
mitigation strategies.
● Maintain updated network and security documentation including diagrams, SOPs, and
policies.
● Identify areas for process improvement, propose changes, and lead the implementation of
chosen solutions.
● Certifications: CISSP or CISA or equivalent certifications are mandatory.
● Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with HP Network Devices, Palo Alto,
Fortinet, BIG-IP, F5, DNS, DHCP, and SAN Storage.
● Knowledge & exposure on (not limited to) NMS Tools, Routing Protocols such as OSPF,
BGP, etc., MPLS Configuration (VRF Config), Switching Protocols, STP, QoS, etc.
● Experience in working in Large Data Center Network environments.
● Experience in coordination with ISP, clients and onsite technical teams for P2P, MPLS, VPN
and other links for new implementations and troubleshooting connectivity issues.
● Experience with network architecture design and implementation.Minimum Qualifications -
1. Minimum BE/ B.Tech/MCA/M.Tech or equivalent.
2. The resource should hold a CISSP or CISA or equivalent certifications.
3. The resource should have minimum 10 years’ out of which at least 5 years should be as
Security lead designing security architecture for large IT projects in e- Governance/ BFSI
domains and should demonstrate technical proficiency in implementing security requirements,
protocols, standards and tools.
4. The resource should have at least 5 years of experience in design and implementation of
security architecture, with demonstrated expertise in solutions, including, but not limited to,
intrusion detection / prevention, VPN, single sign-on, firewalls, Multi-Factor Authentication
(MFA), mobile security etc.
5. Experience in design, implementation and administration of network infrastructure – LAN,
WAN etc. is also required.
6. The resource should have thorough understanding of networking protocols and configuration
of the network devices.
7. The resource should also have working with Data Center experience.
8. The resource should have experience and understanding of DC & DR site networking, data
replication.
