Job Description:
We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer (SDE-III) to join our team. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining user interfaces across different platforms, viz. web, mobile and chrome extension. You will work closely with the backend, design and product teams to create high-performant and scalable applications. You will also be responsible for ensuring and improving
the quality of our codebase and mentoring junior developers. Ground floor opportunity to join an early team and have an impact on the frontend organization and culture.
Responsibilities:
● Architect and develop one or more major areas of the Synaptic platform across web, mobile and chrome extensions
● Collaborate with product, backend and design teams to convert business requirements into technical design specifications
● Ability to manage self, plan and execute in a fast cadence ensuring high-quality output
● As a Lead Engineer, you are expected to bring new and fresh ideas to the company and its solutions.
● Take complete ownership, iterate and improve one of the key vertical areas of the frontend division viz. Design System, Product Analytics, Data Management, Developer experience,Core Platform, Mobile App
● Perform and lead triage and analysis of application incidents to provide possible short-term and long-term resolutions
● Generates innovative new ideas, concepts, high fidelity software prototypes and minimum viable products (MVPs) which accelerate or create new business capabilities.
Requirements:
● 5+ years experience in modern frontend development, with 2+ years experience in React or React Native.
● Should have strong JavaScript fundamentals, with a good understanding of how rendering works across web or mobile
● Should have a strong understanding of front-end build systems and tools like Webpack, Vite, Yarn, Lerna
● Should have a good understanding of building complex performant web applications. Experience in measuring and debugging performance across web and mobile
● Good to have experience in planning and writing test cases - Unit testing, Snapshot testing and Integration tests.
● Good to have experience in improving CI/CD pipelines, preferably in a mono repo
● Bonus points if you have experience with visualization libraries like Highcharts, d3.js or high volume data table components like ag-grid is preferred
