Role & Responsibilities

Shopify Development:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain Shopify-based websites.
• Implement custom features and functionalities using relevant technologies.
• Ensure seamless integration of third-party apps and extensions.

Backend Development:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend systems to support e-commerce functionality.
• Optimize and enhance server-side logic for improved performance and scalability.
• Integrate Shopify with backend systems and databases.

Customization and Extension:

• Customize Shopify themes and templates to meet specific project requirements.
• Develop custom Shopify apps and plugins to extend platform functionality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to custom code and integrations.

Performance Optimization:

• Conduct regular audits of Shopify websites to identify and address performance bottlenecks.
• Implement best practices to optimize site speed, responsiveness, and overall user experience.

Ideal Candidate

• 3-5 years of experience as a Shopify Developer with a strong focus on backend development.
• Proficiency in Shopify theme and app development using Liquid and JavaScript.
• A solid understanding of backend technologies such as PHP, Ruby on Rails, or Node.js.
• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Familiarity with API integrations and web services.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
