JD- STE (Performance Testing)
What will you be doing?
• Lead performance testing initiatives for UI, Web Services, and Mobile Apps, utilizing
extensive Senior Software Testing expertise and a steadfast quality-driven mindset.
• Conceptualized, implement, and manage testing documentation encompassing test plans,
cases, and scripts, ensuring meticulous testing practices.
• Actively engage across all SDLC phases, identifying system vulnerabilities and contributing to
the continuous enhancement of software quality.
• Assume complete ownership of performance testing across the entire product spectrum
within the Quality team, ensuring thorough and consistent evaluation.
• Develop a comprehensive roadmap and performance test plan, strategizing test coverage
and objectives alignment. Collaborate on task distribution and prioritize testing efforts.
• Provide valuable insights and recommendations for system performance enhancements and
workload model design, contributing to refined software performance.
• Participate in various product release stages and effectively implement performance testing,
reinforcing quality assurance measures.
• Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams including Product Managers, Designers,
and Developers, playing a pivotal role from feature inception to ensure top-tier product
quality.
• Report testing status, performance metrics, and recommendations to both the development
team and project stakeholders, ensuring open communication channels.
From your experience, you should:
• 7+ years of experience in performance testing of UI, Web Services, and Mobile Apps
• Exposure to the performance engineering approach
• Strong knowledge of system architecture models and performance improvement methods
• Hands-on experience with open-source tools like JMeter or Gatling and Webpage Test
• Should have implemented UI Performance using any of the open-source tools like Web Page
Test or JMeter or Gatling
• Should have implemented API Testing in Test Automation using Java and Rest Assured
• Experience using various tools and technologies such as JIRA, Confluence, Git or SVN
• Hands-on knowledge of JMeter/WebPageTest/Gatling integration with git and CI/CD pipeline
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and report issues
• Good to have knowledge of UNIX/Linux Operating System
• Good to have experience with security testing tools such as OWASP ZAP or Burp Suite
