What will you be doing?
• Proficiently perform testing for web applications, APIs, and mobile applications, ensuring robust functionality and user-centric experiences.
• Create meticulous test cases that encompass functionality, negative scenarios, and user behaviours, enhancing the quality and reliability of the software.
• Drive the creation and enhancement of Test Automation Suites for Web Applications
and Web Services. Utilize Java, Selenium, and Rest Assured to streamline testing processes.
• Engage in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), proactively
identifying weaknesses in the system and contributing to continuous improvement efforts.
• Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams including Product Managers,
Designers, and Developers. Play a pivotal role from feature inception, ensuring the delivery of a high-quality product.
From your experience, you should:
• 3-5 years of Experience in testing SaaS-based Web Applications with at least 2+ years in automation
• Strong experience in manual and automated testing, with a good understanding of testing methodologies and tools
• Working experience in testing front/backend functionality, API integrations
• Working experience in testing Web Services using Postman, Rest Assured, and validation of data
• Experience in enhancing test scripts in Web Applications using Java & Selenium
• Experience in designing, executing, and maintaining testing documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts
• Experience with debugging tools such as the Chrome Dev Tools Console
• Experience with source code management systems such as Git or SVN
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and report issues
• Good to have experience in the integration of Test Automation with Cloud-based Device farm
• Good to have knowledge in mobile app testing
