UI/UX Job Description
Collaborate with UX designers, researchers, requirements engineers, and developers to produce
software designs that reflect an understanding of the end-user’s workflow.
Work within the design systems to create and manage common user interface elements such as
icons, menus, controls, visualizations, etc.
Strong typography, layout, visual, and user-system interaction design skills.
Strong working knowledge of responsive design, grid principles, and design systems.
Create wireframes, prototypes, storyboards, sitemaps, and screen flows across multiple platforms
(web and mobile).
Adhere to company aesthetics, standards, and brand integrity when creating elegant and useful
interfaces.
All other duties as assigned.
Skills needed to be successful –
3-5 years of demonstrated experience in creating and implementing UI design.
Proficiency in prototyping and visual design programs such as Sketch, Photoshop, Figma and
Adobe Creative Cloud or similar design tools.
Experience in the creation of UI deliverables: low and hi-fidelity prototypes, storyboards,
wireframes, and layouts.
Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to optimize data for the best possible outcome
Continued education and research into UI trends and current design strategy and technology.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple milestones and projects efficiently.
Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and comparable languages, libraries, and frameworks.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
